Lara Glasgow Corey teaches Legal Writing for L.L.M. Students. She
graduated from Boalt in 2001, where she was the Chair of the Moot Court
Board and a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. Prior to
returning to the San Francisco Bay Area and to Boalt, Ms. Corey was a
litigator at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York, where, among other
intellectual property and antitrust matters, she served on a pro bono trial
team that successfully defended the copyrights to the choreography of
Martha Graham for the dance school that she founded. Subsequent to her
time at Cravath, Ms. Corey litigated at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan
LLP and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. In addition to teaching, Ms.
Corey serves as in-house counsel to an academic coaching company. She is
married to a fellow Boalt alum and has two daughters.
