Environmental Field Placements are the field placement component that accompanies the Environmental Field Placement Seminar (295E). Students should see: http://www.law.berkeley.edu/170/htm for a description of the Field Placement Program including a list of approved environmental law placements or they may propose their own placements with non-profit or government agencies. Students receive credit based on legal work under the supervision of attorney when they do 4 hours/week over a 14 week semester and they are generally required to work 16 hours/week or 224 hours over the course of the semester. Environmental Field Placements are graded on a Credit/No Credit basis. Students start and end dates are expected to track the academic calendar. Students complete a Field Placement Application and once it is approved, they receive their course control numbers for the Field Placement and the accompanying required Seminar.
