The General Field Placement Seminar is the required 2-unit graded companion course to the General Field Placement Program, where students work on law-related matters in non-profit and government agencies under the supervision of attorneys and receive academic credit. The Seminar meets the Professional Responsibility and along with the field placement component meets the Professional Skills requirement at the law school. The Seminar's goal is to provide students with an opportunity to explore professional responsibility topics and the opportunity to work on hypotheticals and presentations related to their field placements. Students are expected to complete journals, time sheets, forms, and a final outline and presentation to earn credit for the Field Placement Program and Seminar. In order to earn academic credit, field placements are offered for 4 units or 16 hours/week of work over the 14 weeks. The first class will meet on Tuesday, August 28th.
