This is an introductory, academic support course on constitutional law. While first and foremost a substantive class -- it will cover judicial review, federalism, equal protection and due process -- the course will also focus on skill building. It will enhance students' abilities to read and synthesize cases, to formulate effective legal arguments, and to write law school exams. The course will be limited to 30 people, requires an application, and is open only to first-year students.
Prerequisites:
Enrollment is by application. Applications will be available during the first week of classes. Class will begin week two.
This course satisfies the Constitutional Law Requirement.
