This seminar will be devoted to considering selected problems in contract theory concerning issues such as consideration, interpretation, mistake, and the effect of unexpected circumstances.

At each session of the seminar, two or three papers, published or unpublished, will be considered, and all students will be asked to submit brief written comments on each paper in advance of the seminar.

The seminar will have two complementary objectives-evaluating the merits of competing theories on given issues and learning how to critically evaluate legal scholarly literature.
