This colloquium series, which will be held in conjunction with the Center for the Study of Law and Society Speaker series, is designed to familiarize students with work in the field of law and society. Students will attend weekly presentations by leading scholars from around the world, and when papers are provided by those scholars, will read them prior to the presentation. Students will be expected to submit short written critiques for five papers over the course of the semester. Students will be invited to meet with some of the speakers over dinner.

Prerequisites:
Standing as JSP doctoral student or by permission of the instructor.
