In this workshop, we will focus on recent and ongoing work at the intersection of law, philosophy, and political theory. Our particular focus will be on analyses of such ideas as order, authority, security, sovereignty, and the state. Every other week, we will host guest speakers who will
present and discuss their current work. Requirements include short response papers and active engagement in the seminar discussions.
Prerequisites:
A background in philosophy may be helpful, though it is by no means essential.
