This course examines the differential treatment of women and men in five areas of law: constitutional law; family law; employment law (coverage here is limited to federal law and does not include state employment law); education law; and criminal law. Students who have taken employment discrimination can also receive credit for this course. There are no prerequisites.

This course may satisfy the Writing Requirement.
