This course will examine some of the legal issues encountered uniquely and frequently in the life science industry. Particular attention will be given to the legal and policy issues arising in connection with the patents, technology partnering transactions, and company formation involving biotechnology and related companies. In lieu of a final exam, students will choose prepare a final paper and presentation on a class related topic of their choice.
