This course is a continuation of the Fall 2010 Introduction to Legal Scholarship Seminar. The spring semester will focus on the drafting and revision of a full-length piece of legal scholarship. Students will participate in two series of workshops in which each class member will present his or her paper (twice): first in draft, and then in a revised and refined version. During the second series of workshops each student will also be assigned as a commentator to respond to another student's paper. During this semester we will also continue our discussions about preparing for an entering legal academia, and students will be connected with faculty members who share their substantive or methodological interests.

Prerequisites:
Priority will be given to students who were enrolled in the Fall 2010 Introduction to Legal Scholarship Seminar. If there is additional space, I may admit a few students who did not take part in that class, but those students will need to have already begun work on a draft of a paper (in another class context, for example).

This course may satisfy the Writing Requirement.
