The Environmental Law Field Placement Seminar is a 1-unit required seminar for law students who will be doing part-time (semester or year-long) environmental field placements in the fall 2009 semester. In the seminar, students will be expected to discuss their externship experiences and we will cover topics such as: field placement learning opportunities, skills development (research, writing, professionalism, etc.), and issues specific to working in the environmental law field.

Prerequisites:
Students must have an accompanying part-time approved environmental law field placement in the fall 2009 semester. Only 2nd and 3rd year students are eligible to participate. Students are expected to do field placements for 4 units a semester, or 224 hours (16 hours/week for 14 weeks). Students must complete a Field Placement Application Form and have their field placements approved by the Field Placement Director to be eligible to receive academic credit.
