State-level of regulation and facilitation of global economic activities has generated new problems of coordination of state courts and agencies in that process, as well as questions of the appropriate level (state, regional, or global) of that regulation. The seminar will focus on the most important laws, such as antitrust, intellectual property, corporation and securities regulation, bankruptcy, investment and commerce controls, and consumer and environmental protection, and examine these problems of coordination and jurisdiction.

Prerequisites:
suitable for 3L, LLM and JSD

This course may satisfy the Writing Requirement.
