Boalt Alums Elected UCB Foundation Trustees
Three Boalt alums are among the newly-elected trustees of the University of California, Berkeley Foundation (UCBF): Richard Greene '63, Shirley Sanderson '75 and Myron Sugarman '67. All three have a longstanding commitment to the law school and the campus.

Every July, new trustees are welcomed to the UCBF Board. The chief fundraising arm of the university, the trustees serve a critical function in cultivating support for campus programs. Trustee members include professional, business, philanthropic leaders with a dedicated interest in the well-being of the university. A majority of the 52-member board must be Berkeley alumni.

Greene, a founding partner of Greene Radovsky Maloney & Share, specializes in estate and tax law. Sanderson worked in civil litigation at Pacific Gas & Electric before retiring in 1991. An accomplished estates, trusts and tax planning expert, Sugarman is a partner at Cooley Godward in San Francisco.

Elected trustees serve three-year terms. In addition to fundraising, board members help to maintain Berkeley's public stature by serving as a conduit for public opinion, as an advisory council and as advisers to Berkeley's chancellor and the campus.
