Boalt Alum Speaks at Law Library's Observance of United Nations Day
In honor of the 60th anniversary of the United Nations, Akiko Ito (LL.M. '90) from the U.N.'s Department of Economic and Social Affairs hosted a U.N. Hour at Boalt's library on October 24. Ito, currently a visiting scholar at the Center for the Study of Law & Society, informally discussed international issues of interest to the Boalt community. Her appearance was part of Boalt's observance of United Nations Day, celebrating the ratification of the United Nations charter on October 24, 1945.
The Boalt library also featured a display of key U.N. publications for international law research and provided an opportunity to sign up for special U.N. research sessions.
