Summer Talks on Public Interest Law Honor Elizabeth Cabraser '78
On June 14, the Legal Aid Society - Employment Law Center (LAS-ELC) launched its popular summer lecture program with a new name: the Elizabeth J. Cabraser Summer Brown Bag Lecture Series in Public Interest Law. The seven-week series of presentations focuses on current topics in civil and human rights law. It has been renamed to recognize Cabraser's longtime support of the center's programs for the working poor and her commitment to public interest mentorship. Cabraser, a partner at Leiff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, has served on the LAS-ELC board since 1993.

The free brown bag presentations will take place at LAS-ELC's San Francisco offices, 600 Harrison Street, Suite 120, on Tuesdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. For a series schedule, please visit the website.
