Tom Ginsburg to Receive C. Herman Pritchett Award
The C. Herman Pritchett award will be presented to Tom Ginsburg (J.D. ’97, Ph.D. ’99) this September. Presented by the American Political Science Association, the annual prize is awarded to the political scientist with the best book on law and courts published the previous year.

His publication Judicial Review in New Democracies: Constitutional Courts in Asian Cases (Cambridge University Press, 2003) explores the source and development of judicial power by examining three East Asian constitutional courts. Ginsburg is currently an associate professor of law and political science at University of Illinois College of Law.
