Spencer Strellis Becomes President of Alameda County Bar Association
Spencer Strellis ’58, founder and director of California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, was installed as president of the Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA) at a reception on January 9, 2004. Strellis is an accomplished criminal law attorney who has tried more than 300 felonies to verdict before a jury. He also frequently lectures on criminal law and trial skills at Hastings College of Trial Advocacy and the Oakland College of the Law.

Strellis was sworn in as president by the Honorable Barbara J. Miller, presiding judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda.
