Professors Debate Warfare Conventions in the San Francisco Chronicle
The June 15 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle featured op-ed pieces by Professors David Caron and John Yoo arguing different viewpoints with respect to whether or not the United States should continue to follow the international conventions on warfare. The pieces examine the impact terrorism has had on our legal thinking about these issues. Both Yoo's "Sept. 11 Has Changed the Rules" and Caron's "Emergency Rule Leaves Us Morally Ill at Ease" are available online.
