John Gardner Presents Annual Kadish Lecture
On Wednesday, April 7, University of Oxford Professor of Jurisprudence John Gardner will present the annual Kadish lecture. His lecture, "Complicity and Causality," will examine the culpability of criminal conspirators as part of a moral framework. Commentary by Scott Shapiro, Cardozo Law School and Jonathan Simon, Boalt Hall JSP program, will follow.
John Gardner is a leading expert on legal philosophy and criminal law. He is an occasional visiting professor at Yale Law School. He serves on the editorial boards of the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Legal Theory and Law and Philosophy. The talk will take place at 4:10 p.m. in 140 Boalt.
