Professor Daniel Farber Receives Association of American Publishers Award
The Association of American Publishers (AAP) has honored Professor Daniel Farber with a 2003 Professional Scholarly and Publishing Division (PSP) Award for his book, Lincoln's Constitution. The PSP Awards are presented annually by AAP to acknowledge excellence in book, journal and electronic publishing in all the disciplines represented by professional, scholarly and reference publishing.
Lincoln's Constitution is a comprehensive evaluation of Abraham Lincoln's legal legacy. The book frames the constitutional problems that arose during Lincoln's term within their historical moment and investigates how well Lincoln's views hold up over a century later.
