9th Circuit Court of Appeals Holds Oral Arguments at Boalt Hall
On Wednesday, April 14, a three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will hold oral arguments at Boalt. The panel, consisting of Senior Judge Thomas Nelson, Judge Marsha Berzon and Judge William Fletcher, will hear arguments for five cases currently before the court. A longstanding Boalt Hall tradition, 9th Circuit Day gives students the opportunity to observe one of the most dynamic courts in the country. Arguments will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Booth Auditorium.

In order to ensure the cases will be able to proceed without interruption, please be aware of the following guidelines. All observers should be seated by 9:15 a.m. The doors will only reopen for entry or exit when a case has been completed. All personal belongings (including backpacks, jackets, cell phones and laptops) should be brought to the Check Room outside of the auditorium. Photography and recording devices are not permitted inside the auditorium. For more information, please contact Erin Campbell at 510-643-8010 or ecampbell@law.berkeley.edu.
