Experts Examine Water Policy Reform
On September 12, Boalt Hall and UC Berkeley's College of Natural Resources will host A Decade of Water Policy Reform: The Central Valley Project Improvement Act in 2003. Participants will discuss this landmark legislative act and examine its impact in the decade since its passage. Panel discussions will also explore recent achievements and challenges in bringing ecological restoration and economic stability to federal water projects, and the ramifications of the act on future water law and policy in California. A keynote address will be given by former New Jersey Senator Bill Bradley.

The conference will be held at the Bank of America Building in San Francisco. Registration is required. For more information, please visit the conference website, or contact Erin Campbell at 510-643-8010 or ecampbell@law.berkeley.edu.
