U.S. News & World Report Ranks Boalt a Top-Ten Law School
The University of California, Berkeley School of Law is again ranked among the nation's top 10 law schools, according to U.S. News & World Report. Released April 3, the rankings analyze 177 accredited law schools and are based on such factors as reputation, selectivity, placement success and faculty resources.
Several of Boalt's curricular programs are also listed in the magazine's ranking of top curricular programs. The school's intellectual property law program is ranked first in the nation, and its environmental and international law programs hold the ninth and tenth spots on their respective lists.
The ranking of the top 100 law schools is available on the U.S. News & World Report website. A related story about the rankings list appeared in the Recorder. For more information, please contact Chris Bush at 510-643-8215 or cbush@law.berkeley.edu.
