Students Win Regional Trial Competition
Boalt Hall's mock trial team is one of two winners in the National Trial Competition's Western Regional contest. This was Boalt Hall's first year participating in the competition, which was held in Portland, Oregon, on February 20-23. The victory ensures the team entry in the national championship in Houston, Texas, on March 26-29.
Coached by San Francisco trial attorney John Hullverson, the team is comprised of Paul Marchegiani '03, Lana Morton '04 and Jennifer Nelson '03. They competed against 21 teams for the western region, emerging undefeated after 5 full trials.
