Students Publish New York Times Ad Protesting Government Policies
A group of students from several California law schools, including Boalt Hall, have published a full-page advertisement in the February 14 western edition of the New York Times protesting much of the legislation and policies enacted by the government in response to 9/11. Titled "Tomorrow's Lawmakers Shouldn't Have to Answer for today's Misdeeds," the ad was sponsored by more than 300 law school students from Boalt Hall, Stanford, UC Davis, UC San Diego, Golden Gate University and others.
