Deirdre Mulligan Serves on Microsoft Board
Professor Deirdre Mulligan is working with 18 other academic research and policy experts to advise Microsoft on security, privacy and reliability enhancements in the company’s products. Established by Microsoft as a tool to obtain critical feedback on product and policy issues, the Microsoft Trustworthy Computing Academic Advisory Board held its first meeting in February 2003.
Mulligan joined the faculty in 2001 as director of the Samuelson Law, Technology and Public Policy Clinic. Prior to her appointment at Boalt Hall, she worked to advance privacy, free speech and other democratic values on the Internet at the Center for Democracy and Technology.
