Richard Delgado Visits Boalt as Center for Social Justice Scholar-in-Residence
Richard Delgado ’74, a professor at the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, will visit Boalt for the fall semester as the Center for Social Justice Scholar in Residence. Professor Delgado’s social justice scholarship includes remedies for hate speech, state racial histories (including California’s) and justice at war.

Professor Delgado is the author of over 100 journal articles and 15 books. His books have won eight national book prizes, including six Gustavus Myers Awards for Outstanding Book on Human Rights in North America, the American Library Association’s Outstanding Academic Book, and a Pulitzer Prize nomination. During the semester he will be giving presentations on his work to both faculty and students and will be actively engaged in other center activities.
