Boalt Hosts Conference on Coalitions
Coalitions at the Crossroads will examine the current state of civil rights, including federal judicial appointments, the desegregation of higher education, environmental justice and reproductive rights. The conference is sponsored by 30 student groups from Boalt Hall, the Equal Justice Society, Boalt Hall’s Center for Social Justice and the new Hastings Race & Poverty Law Journal. The conference will be held at Boalt Hall on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. An evening panel will also be held at Hastings on Friday, April 11.
