SF Chronicle Names Seven Boalt Alumni Among Top 25 Bay Area Attorneys
Seven of the top 25 Bay Area lawyers named by the San Francisco Chronicle graduated from Boalt Hall. The newspaper surveyed lawyers, judges, headhunters and other legal observers to come up with its list.
The Boalt alumni recognized are Marvin Starr '58, Paul Melodia '64, Jerome Falk Jr. '65, Larry Sonsini '66, William Gagen Jr. '68, Eva Paterson '75 and Elizabeth Cabraser '78. In addition, four of the lawyers named in the article teach at Boalt, including alumni Cabraser and Sonsini as well as Matthew Powers and Cristina Arguedas.
