Cesar del Peral Receives Chancellor's Community Service Award
Cesar del Peral '03 will be awarded the Chancellor's Community Service Award. The award recognizes students, staff, faculty and student groups that have made an outstanding contribution to the university's mission of public service. Cesar was chosen in recognition of his commitment to the East Bay Community Law Center's Community Economic Development practice and for his assistance in recruiting minority students for Boalt's Admitted Student's Day. Cesar is one of eight UC Berkeley students chosen to receive this prestigious honor. The award will be presented Wednesday, April 24, at 5:30 p.m. at the Tang Center, 2222 Bancroft Way.
