Bryan Stevenson Visits Boalt Hall
Bryan Stevenson, executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative of Alabama, will spend Monday, March 10, at Boalt as the Center for Social Justice Practitioner-in-Residence. In addition to holding office hours throughout the day for students, Stevenson will also give a lecture at 12:45 p.m. in 115 Boalt. The talk will focus on Stevenson's work with Equal Justice Initiative, which includes litigating on behalf of condemned prisoners, juvenile offenders, innocent people wrongly convicted or charged with violent crimes, poor people denied effective representation, and others whose trials are marked by racial bias or prosecutorial misconduct.
