East Bay Community Law Center Names New Executive Director
The East Bay Community Law Center's Board of Directors has named Jeff Selbin as the next executive director. Selbin replaces Bernida M. Reagan, who has left the EBCLC to take a new position as the director of social responsibility for the Port of Oakland.

Selbin previously directed the clinical law student intern program at EBCLC. From 1990 to 1999, he served as supervising attorney and director of the HIV/AIDS Law Project, which he founded in 1990 as a Skadden Fellow. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Selbin has practiced as a supervising clinician for 11 years, is a lecturer at Boalt Hall and co-teaches "Community Law Practice at EBCLC," the companion seminar for law school students enrolled in the clinical program. His appointment as executive director will ensure that EBCLC continues to provide first-rate learning opportunities for Boalt students as well as needed legal services for indigent communities.
