Boalt Hall Sponsors the Jorde Symposium
On March 6 Boalt Hall and the Brennan Center hosted the Thomas M. Jorde Symposium, which featured speaker Bruce Ackerman, Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science at Yale Law School. Ackerman's talk, "Voting with Dollars: A New Paradigm for Campaign Finance," proposed a system for regaining control over American democracy through campaign finance. The symposium also featured commentators Pamela Karlan of Stanford Law School and David Strauss of the University of Chicago.
