Students Awarded Fulbright Grants
Damir Arnaut '02 and Edward Balsamo '02 were recently awarded Fulbright Grants. This prestigious program annually selects approximately 1,000 students from the United States to pursue academic coursework and/or research in a foreign country. The program was created in 1946 to foster a mutual understanding among nations through educational and cultural exchange. Recipients are chosen for their leadership potential and their proposals' importance to the general welfare of the world's inhabitants.
Arnaut's grant was awarded to fund a one-year of study of the Constitutional Court of Hungary. His research will focus on the court's recent practice of judicial review. Balsamo will conduct research in Italy as part of an LL.M. program in International and Comparative Law at the European University Institute.
