The hearings were part of a national series on the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property law and policy. The hearings were jointly hosted by the law school's Berkeley Center for Law & Technology and the Competition Policy Center at the Haas School of Business. Professors Mark Lemley, Peter Menell, Robert P. Merges, Daniel L. Rubinfeld and Howard Shelanski were among the faculty members participating in the hearings.
