Boalt Hall Cohosts FTC Hearings
The Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice held joint hearings at UC Berkeley from February 25-28. The hearings were part of a national series on the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property law and policy. The events featured national academic and industry leaders who discussed their experiences and explored different perspectives on patent law, intellectual property, competition and innovation.

The hearings were jointly hosted by the law school's Berkeley Center for Law & Technology and the Competition Policy Center at the Haas School of Business. Professors Mark Lemley, Peter Menell, Robert P. Merges, Daniel L. Rubinfeld and Howard Shelanski were among the faculty members participating in the hearings.
