Ronald Dworkin Presents Annual Kadish Lecture
On Tuesday, November 26, New York University School of Law Professor Ronald Dworkin will present the third annual Kadish lecture. Titled "Law, Interpretation and the Point of Political Philosophy," the lecture will explore whether our definitions of law, liberty and democracy are morally neutral descriptions or contestable moral conceptions that depend on our assessments of what is most desirable.

Also a professor at University College, London, Dworkin is widely recognized as the most influential legal philosopher of the past 30 years. Following the lecture, Professor John Searle of the UC Berkeley Philosophy Department and Boalt Professor Eric Rakowski will provide commentary. The talk will take place at 4:10 p.m. in 140 Boalt.
