Boalt Hosts State Bar Admission Ceremony
On Friday, December 6, Boalt graduates who have recently passed the state bar exam and can practice law in California will gather at the school for an admission ceremony. Participants will take the attorney's oath of office before Justice Kathryn Mickle Werdegar '62 of the California Supreme Court. They will also take the Federal District Court oath before Judge Thelton E. Henderson '61 of the U.S. District Court, Northern District, and the Federal Court of Appeals oath before Judge William A. Fletcher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony for all attendees.

The event marks the beginning of a new tradition and is the first time Boalt Hall has hosted a State Bar Admissions Ceremony. For more information, please contact Chris Bush at 510-643-8215 or cbush@law.berkeley.edu.
