Paging from Storage

Some of our collection is shelved in storage which is not accessible by the public. If you need to consult material that is stored in our Basement or Simon storage facilities, please (1) fill out a Paging Request card, (2) have a Reference Librarian review the Paging Request for accuracy and completeness, and (3) give it to a staff person at the Patron Services desk. Please be as specific as possible in your request. No more than 10 volumes may be paged at any one time for any one person.

Paging is done once a day. If you submit a request before 2 p.m., your material will be on hold for you by 4 p.m. If you submit a request after 2 p.m., your material will be on hold for you by 4 p.m. the next day.

At times, due to mechanical or other facility problems, the storage areas may not be accessible by anyone until the problem is resolved. You should be notified of any problem at the time you submit your request.
