If you prefer to initiate your own interlibrary request, you may use any of the methods available to Boalt students. Please see below. Boalt StudentsExpedited ILLBoalt maintains an expedited Interlibrary Loan program with the law libraries at UC Davis, Hastings and Stanford. Please fill out this form. Please be sure the book is at the LAW library (Mabie Law Library at Davis or Crown Law Library at Stanford), NOT at the Shields library at Davis or the Green library at Stanford. ShareLawBoalt now partners with a number of large law libraries across the nation to provide interlibrary loan services. Here is how to use this service:
Melvyl RequestIf you find a book you need in the Melvyl catalog, you may click on the yellow "Request" button at the top of the catalog record, fill out the form, and an interlibrary request will be generated for you. Research Library Cooperative ProgramThis program allows currently registered graduate students at UC Berkeley, Stanford, and UT Austin to borrow or request photocopies of materials held at any of the libraries on any of those campuses. For a full description of the program please see the RLCP homepage. To request an item please use this request form. Borrowing from Outside the UC SystemIf you need to borrow from a library OTHER than those listed above, please inquire at Interlibrary Borrowing, 133 Doe Library, 9 to 4, Monday-Friday. You may also request material by using the appropriate online form: Academic and Public LibrariansInterlibrary loans for material from any library on the Berkeley campus are handled through the Main (Doe) Library.
