Minolta Microfiche Scanner Function Guide

  1. TURN ON the Microfiche Scanner (Wait 10sec)
  2. INSERT USB Flash Drive into the USB port on the computer monitor (Wait 10sec)
  3. FIND the page/screen you desire to scan in the Minolta Microfiche Scanner
  4. LAUNCH "Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional" shortcut on the desktop
    1. In the "Document Menu" of Adobe Acrobat, click on "Scan to PDF…"
    2. In the "Scanner" drop down option choose "MS 6000@0:0:0"
    3. Click "Scan"
    4. In the "Save Scanned files as" window Click "D:\" which is your flash drive
    5. Also, give your file a name and click "Save"
    6. In the "Konica Minolta MS Series Scanner Setup" window make sure "Resolution (DPI)" is set to 300 and "Scan Area" is set to 8.5" x 11"
    7. Click "Scan"
    8. If you desire to scan more than one document, first find the next document on the Microfiche Scanner, then choose "Scan more pages ( Put Sheet 2 )". Otherwise, if you are done scanning choose "Scanning complete"
  5. CLOSE Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional
  6. REMOVE your USB flash drive from the monitor
  7. TURN OFF the Microfiche Scanner
