Duplicating Robbins Materials
Modern books
Robbins Collection materials do not circulate and may not leave the Robbins reading room. However, on-site patrons, who wish to take modern books out of the reading room to make photocopies in the law library's copy room, may leave a photo ID at the reference desk, which will be returned when the materials are brought back. It is incumbent upon patrons who wish to make photocopies of modern materials to be aware of copyright restrictions and fair use policies. Patrons may consult the U.S. Copyright Office for rules governing such issues.
Rare books
Requests for duplication of pages in rare books must be referred directly to the reference librarian and will be decided upon on a case-by-case basis, depending on the condition of the book. Options for duplication are a photocopy (if the condition of the book permits) or a digital photo.
