Lexis and Westlaw

Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw are subscription-based online legal research services. Law students will be given passwords for these services during the mandatory computer orientation sessions. Training sessions will occur at various times throughout the semester.

If you need help doing Lexis or Westlaw searches, you should consult with the librarians at the Reference Desk. Please feel free to contact Amy L. Dhall, the Lexis representative or Mark Cygnet, the Westlaw representative, with questions about their respective services. Lexis and Westlaw representative hours are available on their homepages and are written on the whiteboards in M128.

If you have problems with printing, you can consult a computer labtech. However, you may also have to contact the technical support staff at Lexis and Westlaw using the phones located in M128.
