Microform CollectionThe law library maintains an extensive and ever-growing collection of materials on microfiche and microfilm. As the production of paper documents becomes more expensive this collection is going to grow larger still. Many commonly sought titles are indicated directly on the drawer containing the material. In addition, case and drawer number information is listed on many of the bibliographic records in the LawCat catalog. If you any have problems finding the materials you want, ask a reference librarian. You can use the microform reader to view and print pages or to scan pages to a PDF file that can be saved on a flash drive. Print copies can be made using a copy card, available for purchase in the Copy Center on level 2 (the main lobby level of the library); instructions for scanning to a PDF file are available here. The microform collection is located on level 1M of the library. Go down the stairs across from the Reference and Patron Services Desks and make a U-turn at the bottom of the stairs; the collection is in Room M129. Please remember that the microform room is not a study area; it is for library users using the microform collection. |
