Lindsay
Sturges Saffouri graduated from Hastings College of the Law in 1997, where
she served as an articles editor for the West-Northwest Journal of Environmental
Law. While a student, she clerked for the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency and Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Echeverria, a plaintiffs'-side litigation
firm. During her third year, she externed full-time for Judge Claudia Wilken
of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
After graduating, Lindsay practiced at Taylor & Co. Law Offices, a civil litigation firm in Alameda, CA. There, she focused on all aspects of pre-trial and post-trial practice. Most of her cases involved disputes between high-tech companies. Simultaneously, she also taught part-time in the Legal Writing & Research department at Hastings College of the Law. Lindsay joined the Boalt faculty full-time in 2001.
