Jen Moreno received her J.D. from U.C. Berkeley Law School (Boalt Hall) in 2006. While in law school, she interned for a year with the Office of the State Public Defender, and gained experience working on capital habeas petitions. She also interned with a housing rights organization, assisted low-wage workers through the Worker's Rights Clinic, and was involved in various other aspects of the law school's social justice community. Prior to joining the Clinic, she spent a year working with Bay Area communities on issues of homelessness, a field in which she spent several years working prior to law school. Ms. Moreno received her B.A. in sociology from the University of San Francisco in 2000.
