The Graduating Class Gift Campaign is an important tradition, and we hope that the Class of 2011 will be inspired to continue that legacy. It’s becoming our responsibility to assure access to and the continued preeminence of our institution as we begin our legal careers. Boalt’s extraordinary faculty, research centers, and resources have touched each of our lives, and it is essential that we come together to support the things that have made our time here so valuable. As soon-to-be graduates of the nation’s best public law school, we all have a stake in maintaing Boalt's excellence for generations to come.
Class of 2011 - Unveiling Party - Friday April 29, 5-7pm The Unveiling Party starts in the Reading Room, where we'll be the first to enter the South Addition, and celebrate the Roof Deck. Just for the Class of 2011 - RSVP here.
GIVING OPTIONS
Financial Aid Fund - As California withdraws some of its traditional support from the UC system, students must take up the challenge to protect our institution for the next generation. The Public Access Fund will help support Need-Based Grants and Financial Aid. The funds given by the Class of 2011 will supplement, not replace, existing funds committed by the University to Need-Based Grants, and 100% of our gifts will go directly to meet student need.
LRAP – A key aspect of being the nation’s best public law school is that Boalt provides unparalleled and generous support in the form of loan repayment to graduates who pursue careers in the public sector. The funds given by the Class of 2011 will supplement, not replace, existing funds committed by Boalt to LRAP, and 100% of our gifts will go directly to meet student need.
ELQ Diversity Scholarship - In an effort to increase diversity at ELQ, in the environmental law program, and at Boalt generally, ELQ will award this new scholarship to one incoming student each year. ELQ is putting $50,000 toward the program, but we need your help to make it happen. Please be awesome. Contributors, in addition to being loved, are recognized in the journal.
Centers and Clinics – Boalt’s clinical programs are unique: no other law school encourages students to jump into practice as quickly and as intensely as we do. The real-world experiences students gain, and the close mentoring students receive from our world-class clinical faculty, are unparalleled.

And law students have also created affinity, interest, and community groups to promote dialogue, identity, and discussion in specific areas and across the Berkeley campus.
