Oceans in the Nuclear Age: Transport

The sea transport of nuclear material and radioactive waste as part of the nuclear fuel cycle has caused concern on the part of some coastal states. Some argue, for example, that they have a right to prior notification before radioactive waste shipments pass through their exclusive economic zones.
