Litigating Takings
And Other Legal Challenges to Land Use and Environmental Regulation

A Conference Co-Sponsored by:
Georgetown Environmental Law & Policy Institute,
Georgetown University Law Center, and the
California Center for Environmental Law & Policy,
Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley

This legal and policy conference explores constitutional and related statutory challenges to growth control measures, redevelopment projects, and environmental and natural and resource management laws. One major focus of this year's conference will be the legal and policy reaction to the U.S. Supreme Court's Kelo decision — in California and around the country. Another major focus will be the burgeoning federal and state litigation over water resource management. A stellar faculty of leading academics and top-flight practitioners will provide a combination of practical advice for litigators with valuable theoretical insights into the foundations of this cutting-edge field.
