Ronda Jackson is a Program Associate at the Berkeley Center for Criminal Justice. She previously served as lead researcher for Harvard Sociology Professor Christopher Winship's work on the role of clergy in the "Boston Model" to reduce street violence. While at Harvard, she also developed the college's first service learning program for undergraduate students. Prior to academia, she worked in the private, political, and public sectors. She served as a Vice President at the Fleet Boston Financial Foundation, Director of Communications for Mobil Oil procurement division, and a Public Affairs specialist at Burson-Marsteller Public Relations. She also served as a Press Aide for the Clinton/Gore U.S. Presidential Campaign, a Public Affairs Officer for U.S. Transportation Secretary Federico Pena, and a Special Assistant in the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs.
