Chair, 2006 Reunion Campaign

This is a particularly remarkable time to come back to Boalt for a reunion. Our law school has embarked on an extraordinary mission to expand its world-class faculty, redesign its financial aid program to guarantee graduates freedom of career choice, create and grow its leading multidisciplinary research centers and house it all in a landmark new building.

The All-Alumni Reunion is a perfect opportunity to look at the changes that have taken place at Boalt, and gaze ahead to the school's future. Boalt continues to produce leaders who are equipped to confront society's most pressing issues. But, we can no longer expect the school to continue do so in an era of diminishing public support. Under Chris Edley's leadership, Boalt is making breathtaking progress gathering the support it needs to elevate its already prominent standing among the nation's elite law schools.

I hope you return to Boalt on September 30 for reunion programs that cover a broad range of subjects and capitalize on Boalt's interdisciplinary approach. The speakers include leaders in the legal community, and the topics come straight from international headlines--not continuing education courses. I also encourage you to give back to the school by making a generous gift to your class campaign.

Here's to seeing you in September!

I hope you will accept our invitation to come back to Boalt for a visit. The All-Alumni Reunion is a unique opportunity to catch up with old friends, faculty and the school while attending compelling programs and enjoying dinner and activities with your former classmates.

Reconnect...for a memorable day and see for yourself the difference Boalt is making.
